Full job description
Job Description: The Banff Aspen Lodge is in search of a part-time Baker. The Baker is responsible for assisting in the preparation of all food to be served in both the Whitebark Cafe and the Banff Aspen Lodge’s Breakfast Room. Daily tasks include preparing an accurate quantity for the buffet’s hot & cold items, preparing all Whitebark Cafe food items which includes pastries, baked and savory items, anticipating traffic to prepare and organize for following days and maintaining a clean and sanitized work area.

Required Qualifications:

· Ability to speak, write and read English is required, additional languages is an asset

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

· Previous kitchen experience

Preferred Qualifications:

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Capable of working in a fast-paced environment

· Knowledgeable in the proper health and safety procedures

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

· Passion for serving quality products and maximizing guest satisfaction

· Hours per Week: 16-24 hours
