Employment terms: Full-time & part-time summer contracts available

(8th May to 9th October 2023, with year round positions on offer for top performers)

Compensation: $20 - $30 p/hr DOE, regular overtime, 100% of gratuities + performance bonuses

At Radventures we don't operate the same old monotonous big bus sightseeing tours, we provide immersive, exciting & active experiences on snow, water, trails & the road to a wonderfully wide variety of guests looking for adventure from all over the world.

Given that we specialize in boutique, adventurous & "once in a lifetime" small group & private tour experiences for guests who are looking to escape the ordinary in Canada, our enthusiastic & highly personable guides are the backbone of our company ethos and we recognize their importance with a fun, supportive and exciting work environment.

Radventures are currently hiring full time & part time contract tour guides for Summer 2023, with lots of opportunities on offer for the remainder of 2023 and beyond.

A background in tourism and local knowledge is desirable, but the perfect fit for this position is someone who is passionate about outdoor adventures and loves engaging with and educating people.

Key responsibilities:

Lead a diverse range of half and full day tours, most of your time will be spent working alone with our guests
Give interpretive commentary about the specific areas, including history, geology, general ecology, and current happenings
Safely transport guests in a luxury SUV, passenger van or minibus
Create a welcoming and down to earth environment for people from all walks of life
Meet/exceed industry standard protocol when managing clients in various outdoor and urban environments
Provide professional appearance and conduct with all clients, colleagues, and partner organizations.
Required traits, skills & qualifications:

Legal right to reside & work in Canada
Valid Class IV Alberta Driver's License (or ability to obtain) & clean driving record
Fluency in English
Understanding that safety and minimizing risk is our #1 priority – fun is a close 2nd
Outgoing personality and a passion for delivering amazing experiences
Valid CPR/First Aid (Wilderness First Aid preferred)
Exceptional problem solving skills, reliability and punctuality
Desired traits, skills & qualifications:

Outdoor adventure activity experience (hiking, paddling, skiing/snowboarding)
Wilderness First Aid (40 hours)
Compensation & Benefits:

Above local industry hourly wages, with regular overtime (1.5x) available
