The Role

The Bell Person will enjoy being part of a team that creates an atmosphere of exceeding guest arrival and departure expectations each and every time. You will utilize your superior guest service skills, combined with your communication and organizational abilities to provide a high degree of professionalism and efficiency for all guests and visitors at the resort.

Job Duties:

Responsible for guest arrival and departure experience
Providing courteous, professional and attentive guest service at all times
Following up with guest requests or concerns efficiently
Establishing a personal rapport with the guest in order to learn about their needs and expectations, find opportunities to connect and “wow”
Valet parking and retrieval of guest vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
Assisting with guest room deliveries
Driving guest shuttles to local attractions
In-depth knowledge of the Kananaskis Valley and surrounding area, to offer recommendations, make bookings and build an unrivalled Kananaskis guest experience
Responsible for general upkeep of public areas including the hotel lobbies and front entrance
Strong and effective communication/teamwork with all other departments (Housekeeping, Engineering, Conference Services, Accounting, etc)
Knowledge of all safety and emergency procedures
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

Dynamic, enthusiastic individual who thrives under pressure and is able to multi-task
Required to lift and carry guest luggage
Applicant with Hospitality/Tourism Diploma would be an asset
You must have previous customer service experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Professional in presentation and demeanor
Must demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Previously demonstrated commitment to exceeding guests' expectations at all times
Must be computer literate with experience in Windows, Internet
Must be highly Health and Safety conscious dedicated to maintaining a safe work environment.
Enjoys working in a team environment
Must be able to work variable shifts
Must be in possession of an Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator’s License. A Class 5 driver’s license is required and a class 4 license is preferred, in order to be able to assist with Resort Shuttle operations.
Must be able to drive manual and be able to drive a standard vehicle is an asset.
