Imagine living and working in Banff, Alberta and building a career that impacts hundreds of thousands of people. Discover Banff Tours is looking for their next Shop Manager to manage the day-to-day operations of DJ’s Garage. The
Shop Manager’s role is to balance the workflow to ensure Discover Banff Tour’s fleet vehicles are operating at best efficiency and available to deliver tours and transfers, while also assist the fleet and personal vehicles of customers.

Day-to-day responsibilities include:

Manage workflow of DB’s fleet of 25+ vehicles ranging from sedans to buses and service needs for other local businesses, Bow Valley residents, and visitors to the community
Quote jobs, order parts & supplies for shop operation
Manage documents related to client jobs completed
Provide training opportunities and mentorship to DJ’s Garage team of 5 people
Assess recruitment needs
Understand, implement, and ensure compliance of vehicles to the Discover
Banff Tours Maintenance Plan (part of Safety & Maintenance Plan for
Federal Carriers)

Licensing and permitting of fleet
Qualifications:

2+ years’ experience working in an automotive shop or managerial experience
Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License (required or can acquire as soon as you get here!)
Class 2 or 4 Alberta Driver’s License or ability to get them (preferred)
Clean driver’s abstract
Clear criminal record check
Desire to move to the Bow Valley (or you are already there!)
Legally able to work in Banff
