Overview

The Application Support Analyst plays a key role within the IT Team – working with users across Pursuit to ensure that the applications are meeting their needs, assisting them in the use of the applications, and ensuring the applications are operating as intended. This position focuses on product configuration, user account creation, and ensuring integrations between systems run smoothly.

Responsibilities
Receive and prioritize requests for new products and packages
Collaborate with Applications team members and business managers to find the optimal configuration of products for sale online, via the call centre, or in-person
Maintain mappings to allow data to flow to accounting systems accurately
Review integration jobs and correct issues
Create new user accounts (Windows, and Point-of-Sale applications)
Some data and booking maintenance as required
Assist with other IT incidents and seasonal setup needs for businesses
Provide after-hours support as needed
Qualifications
Some work experience using any of the following applications would be an asset: ISO Pacific, RTP, Recreatex, Maestro, Retail Pro, Micros, Active Directory, Dynamics 365
You will need good communication skills, both written and verbal and to understand the importance of accuracy and attention to details
You need an ability to work independently, but also to be a collaborative team player
Sense of urgency, understanding time-sensitive requests and deadlines
Ability to learn new software quickly

This position is preferably based in Banff, AB although alternative locations in Jasper or Golden are possible. Some travel both domestically and internationally (Canada, USA, Iceland) may be necessary, so a valid passport and driver’s license is required.
