Required Qualifications:
A Journeyman certificate is required. An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Additional Required Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent. Minimum two [2] years of recent institutional food service experience, large quantity cooking experience, required. Will consider a recognized equivalent, or demonstrated recent and related experience. Ability to read, write, speak and understand English, required. Basic knowledge of regular and special diets, required. Basic computer skills, required. Food Safe Certification required. Clear Criminal Records Check required.

Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to work quickly and accurately under deadlines. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Ability to follow directions and guidelines. High standards for cleanliness and sanitation. High levels of honesty and integrity. Ability to do mathematical calculations. WHMIS training preferred.
