We are a vibrant and innovating locally owned group of three hotels on the edge of downtown Banff.

We are seeking a full-time talented Night Auditor for Banff Park Lodge collection of hotels with an option to work overtime. The position is required to work full time night shifts (minimum 32 hours per week), weekends, and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Always greet guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Provide information on hotel facilities and services.
Check-in and check-out guests.
Make reservations over the phone, and in person.
Verify extra charges for parking, stay enhancements, no shows and others.
Respond to and resolve guest complaints.
Oversee nightly hotel operations.
Verify revenue from all sources is accurately balanced, follow up on any discrepancies.
Ensure all postings are balanced, run End of Day process.
Compile and distribute daily reports.
Assist Overnight Bell Desk Attendant with the security of the Banff Park Lodge.
Communicate important pass on information to day shifts.
Other projects as required.
Ideal Candidate:

Has 1- to 2-year previous hotel front desk or reservation experience.
Excels in customer service, works with minimal supervision.
Able to solve problems and isn’t afraid to ask for help.
Takes pride in helping the day team succeed.
Is a capable multi-tasker with a keen attention to detail.
Quick decision maker, willing to make mistakes and learn from them.
Wants to grow and develop themselves, excited about furthering their careers.
Has a professional, yet friendly demeanour in person, and over the phone.
Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook.
