The Peaks Hotel & Suites has 71 modern design rooms, conveniently located in the Town of Banff, and just opened on February 4th, 2021.

The Peaks Hotel & Suites is the sister property to the Bow View Lodge and the iconic Banff Park Lodge, a fully serviced Resort Hotel and Conference Centre.

We are seeking full-time talented Bell Desk Attendant / Front Desk, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, split shifts, some night shifts, weekends, and holidays.

The wage will be negotiated based on experience, for 30-40 hours per week.

Pending on staffing levels and hotel occupancies, you may be required to assist at the other properties. Multiple start dates are available.

Employee Incentives:

Staff accommodation is guaranteed with an immediate check-in; daily rent starting from $6.50 to $17.00 per day.
Salary increases based on performance during the first 3, 6, and 12 months of employment, term bonus.

Duties include (but are not limited to):

Assist with Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.
Verify billing, create room reservations and process special requests.
Answer all incoming phone calls in a professional manner.
Customer service-oriented to ensure guests' satisfaction from arrival to departure.
Ensure the driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow, and ice.
Control incoming and outgoing traffic.
Correctly identify stored bags.
Bring baggage up to guests' rooms and retrieve them when requested.
Deliver housekeeping items and packages to guest rooms or respective departments.
Take and retrieve luggage carts as required.
Park cars and retrieve cars as per request with diligence and care.
Flexibility to work AM, PM overnight shifts, and split shifts when required.
Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, its layout, and services.
Being knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities, and dining options.
Provide a high standard of customer service.
Ideal Candidate:

Valid Canadian work permit
Reliable and can commit to at least 6 months of employment.
Previous experience in hotels or customer service is preferred.
Is a capable multi-tasker with keen attention to detail.
Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanor in person and over the telephone.
Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests.
Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs.
Must have a valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license or international driving license + clean abstract.
