Reporting to the Director, People and Culture, the Employee Experience Manager, Housing will ensure a positive living experience for all team members in our accommodations. Monitor, prioritize, plan and budget capital projects for staff housing improvements Create and manage budgets and forecast monthly to ensure goals are achieved Acquire and execute off-season income leases to maximize revenue to reinvest and strengthen local business partnerships Maintain and develop 35 capital expenditure plan by building location Connect with the General Managers monthly regarding improvements, challenges, solutions and delivering monthly report Manage inventory and support growth by seeking real estate leases and purchase opportunities Complete & respond to business audits to ensure continual improvement is achieved Lead all capital improvement project Maintains building systems by contracting maintenance services and supervising repairs Monitor, prioritize, plan a preventative maintenance schedule Ensure a safe comfortable living experience for all staff accommodation residents Create and implement housing standard operating procedures across all geographies Mediate housing challenges, ensure a safe housing expereince Ensure staff accommodation processes are consistently performed to a high standard (key management, arrival, departure, room changes, room checks, etc) Lead and develop direct reports to ensure career progression and growth Key administrator for department IT systems, including Rent Manager and ADP Assist with special functions/events as required with the People and Culture team Live and lead Pursuit core values of Safety First, Bring Your Best, Anticipate and Honour Place What skills and experience do you need for this job?: Working knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety, Landlords and Tenancy Act and construction code regulations an asset Knowledge of recognized construction codes and regulations including Alberta Building Code, Electrical Code and Power Engineering Regulations an asset Project management, ability to inspect work for conformance to work plans, and established standards to supervise the work of others, including sub-contractors A passion for welcoming a diverse team from around the world A valid driver’s license Excellent and respectful communication skills with all levels of our team Solutions oriented and creative and flexible in problem solving Experience in a recognized program of building technology an asset Experience managing building operations and maintenance an asset Minimum five years in a leadership capacity in a similar environment Able to prepare accurate estimates for construction and repair projects A self-starter who is able to work with minimal supervision Continue to build on relationships with our team, project stakeholders and the general public What will your work environment be like?: Beautiful.
