Steamfitter-Pipefitters (Journeyman & Indentured Apprentice) - Project Work

Job description

Follow direction appropriately from supervisor, company management, the customer, and inspectors.
Perform pipefitting job duties in a skilled, capable, professional manner
Measure, cut, thread, groove, bend and install pipe, valves, fittings and structural
Bolt up and pressure test
Join pipe sections using line-up pins to line-up flanges; torque as per flange requirements
Assist with loading and unloading of materials
Rigging
Gather proper tools and materials needed for project
Actively participate in Davco’s Health, Safety & Environmental program
Skill Requirements:

Journeyman or Indentured Steamfitter-Pipefitter Certification
Current Safety Tickets required: CSTS2020, H2S Alive, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform
Other Safety Tickets: Standard First Aid
Must be able to pass an Alcohol & Drug test
Ability to lift up to 23kg
Proficient in written, spoken and reading English
Terms of Employment:

Full-time - Project Based
Shift Rotation: 14 On and 7 Off (Subject to change by client)
Wage: (varies based on experience, and relevant certifications) in accordance to company wage bands based on confirmed credentials.
LOA/ Incentive: Vary by project
Hours of Work: 11 Hours per Day
Overtime paid in accordance with Alberta Employment Legislation.
Preference will be given to those who reside in the Lloydminster or Wainwright trading area. Only those candidates of interest will be contacted for an interview.
