Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen by preparing ingredients, cooking dishes to specification, and maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food preparation, excellent kitchen skills, and experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop culinary skills and contribute to creating memorable dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare ingredients and assemble dishes according to menu specifications and recipes
Cook food items with precision, ensuring proper presentation and taste
Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations in compliance with food safety standards
Handle food safely, including proper storage, handling, and sanitation practices
Support serving staff by ensuring timely delivery of prepared dishes
Follow all health and safety regulations to ensure a safe working environment
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service hours
Experience

Prior experience in food service or restaurant kitchens is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
Knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and kitchen equipment
Familiarity with food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Experience in meal preparation, food industry practices, or related roles is advantageous
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Strong teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning and growth within the culinary field
