The Role Castle Mountain Chalets is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Relief Supervisor to support our housekeeping team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, and is looking for long-term employment in a beautiful mountain resort setting. The Relief Supervisor will primarily cover supervisory duties during weekends and when the Housekeeping Manager is off duty, while also assisting with housekeeping operations during the week. Key Responsibilities Supervision & Leadership Supervise housekeeping operations during weekends and when the Housekeeping Manager is off duty Assign daily cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of guest rooms and cabins Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained Support and guide housekeeping staff during busy operations Operations Assist with cleaning guest cabins and suites when required Coordinate with the Front Desk regarding room status and guest requests Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team Ensure housekeeping storage areas are organized and properly stocked Team Support Train and mentor new housekeeping staff Help maintain a positive and professional team environment Support management in maintaining operational standards About You Willing to commit to a Long term or at least 12-month employment agreement Confident, upbeat, and positive attitude Previous housekeeping experience in hotels, lodges, or resorts Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and products Excellent organizational and team management skills Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills Current legal ability to work in Canada for at least 18 months Housing Subsidized daily rent of $12 Recently renovated accommodation building with 8 private rooms on the hotel property 1-minute walk to work, 25-minute drive to Banff or Lake Louise Fully furnished bedrooms and common area Linens provided Each bedroom has a full ensuite bathroom with a shower Fully equipped kitchen with 2 ovens, microwaves, sinks, and essential kitchenware Each employee has their own full-sized refrigerator in the kitchen Free Wi-Fi and cable Free laundry Free parking Perks Subsidized team events and activities Free gear rental (mountain bikes and snowshoes) Organized trips into town for supplies (groceries/shopping) and fun Close proximity to trails and outdoor activities 30% off in the general store & Discounted Gas.
