The Role

Castle Mountain Chalets is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeping Relief Supervisor to support our housekeeping team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys leadership, takes pride in maintaining high cleanliness standards, and is looking for long-term employment in a beautiful mountain resort setting.

The Relief Supervisor will primarily cover supervisory duties during weekends and when the Housekeeping Manager is off duty, while also assisting with housekeeping operations during the week.

Key Responsibilities

Supervision & Leadership

Supervise housekeeping operations during weekends and when the Housekeeping Manager is off duty
Assign daily cleaning schedules and ensure timely completion of guest rooms and cabins
Conduct room inspections to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are maintained
Support and guide housekeeping staff during busy operations
Operations

Assist with cleaning guest cabins and suites when required
Coordinate with the Front Desk regarding room status and guest requests
Report maintenance issues to the maintenance team
Ensure housekeeping storage areas are organized and properly stocked
Team Support

Train and mentor new housekeeping staff
Help maintain a positive and professional team environment
Support management in maintaining operational standards
About You

Willing to commit to a Long term or at least 12-month employment agreement
Confident, upbeat, and positive attitude
Previous housekeeping experience in hotels, lodges, or resorts
Leadership or supervisory experience is an asset
Hands-on experience with cleaning and maintenance tasks
Ability to operate industrial cleaning equipment and products
Excellent organizational and team management skills
Stamina to handle the physical demands of the job
Flexibility to work various shifts, including holidays and weekends
Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
Current legal ability to work in Canada for at least 18 months
