Work Location – Calgary Office, Hybrid
Hybrid Environment – Hybrid, 2 days in office, 3 work from home
The full base salary range for this position is from $108,000 - $135,000 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.
Initial Posting Close Date – April 17th 2026
This is a 12 Month Contract, Covering Maternaty Leave
About This Opportunity
The National Account Executive I is responsible for the development of direct sales strategies aimed at achieving and/or exceeding the predetermined sales objectives to support the growth of the company's business. The position sells products and services to a select group of large national accounts. As an individual contributor, the successful candidate will have comprehensive knowledge of the foodservice industry, customer management (national & regional in scope), revenue growth, P&L/financial acumen, contract negotiations and customer marketing, along with the ability to execute highly complex or specialized projects.
This role works with integrated account team to manage key aspects of the business relationship with multiple customers; develop and implement Annual Business Plans which support business objectives; act as a system-wide expert on strategy, business systems, and operating philosophy of assigned customer(s); and ensure flawless execution of programs throughout the system.

Responsibilities
Manage and lead collaborative business planning with the strategic goals to develop and execute key partnership initiatives, category programs and drive brand sales.
Contact/visit customers to review and identify strategic direction, problem areas and opportunities to promote product growth.
Develop Account Business Plans including goals, key initiatives, major actions, key support needed, and new product recommendations.
Develop relationships with all key decision makers, both internal and external.
Collaborate and foster relationships with our local bottling partners and distributor portfolio and builds sales capability and facilitate stewardship discussions.
Keep abreast of competitive activities within the responsible geographies and communicates appropriate activity in a timely manner.
Collaborate with cross-functional representatives to ensure that Coca-Cola North America delivers the full
depth and breadth of resources that result in mutual benefits/results.
Lead the stewardship routines with responsible distributors that measures/communicates each partner's activities against mutually agreed upon plans.
Champion change through elimination of barriers and ongoing service issues to provide highest level of distributor customer service.
Develop direct supply chain strategy and activation of initiatives for driving efficiencies across the Coca-Cola North America Product Supply and Foodservice distributors operations.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Must possess at least 3 years of national sales experience within the beverage or CPG (Consumer Packaged Goods) industries.
The ability to lead, prioritize, collaborate, and execute complex projects
Relationship management (suppliers, contractors, bottlers) knowledge of third-party supplier/contractor culture/core competencies is required
Knowledge of supplier capabilities and performance to enhance and manage relationships (specifically foodservice distributor suppliers) is required
Supply Chain operations and expertise is needed, along with an understanding of transportation planning and management of DPU, lntermodal and Over-the-Road carrier network
Must possess the ability to seek alternatives and recommend best solutions that gain all parties support and lead to win-win results #CBSAS #LI-IM1
