Full job description
F&B Server / Breakfast Attendant – Join Us in Valemount, BC!

Yes, the job is in BC... but just a wee distance across the boarder west of Jasper. A hidden gem!
Are you a morning person? Or at least good at pretending to be one with the help of caffeine? Do you love the outdoors and don’t mind trading traffic jams for mountain views and small‑town charm? If yes, you might be the hero our dining room needs!

Welcome to Valemount, BC—where the mountains are tall, the air is fresh, the water is sparkling and the people are friendly!

We’re looking for a fun, friendly, energetic F&B Server / Breakfast Attendant to join our team. If you enjoy great people, great food, and don't need a shopping mall, read on.

⭐ What You’ll Do :

Morning Magic – Breakfast Attendant Duties

Be the friendly face that convinces guests mornings aren’t that bad after all.
Set up, stock, and maintain the breakfast buffet so it looks Instagram‑worthy at all times.
Serve coffee with speed, accuracy, and the enthusiasm of someone who knows it’s liquid gold.
Keep the breakfast area tidy, refreshed, and ready for round two… or five.
Handle guest questions like “What time does the bacon come out?” with grace and good humor.
Classic Server Duties

Welcome guests with a warm, confident smile—even on days when you haven’t had your own breakfast yet.
Share menu specials, take orders, and make recommendations like the food‑loving pro you are.
Ensure meals are served correctly and on time (telepathy with the kitchen is a plus).
Check in with diners—are they happy? Hungry? Ready for dessert?
Clear and reset tables faster than a squirrel crossing a hiking trail.
Prepare guest checks with accuracy (basic math skills required; interpretive dance optional).
Keep the restaurant, lounge, and service areas spotless and safe.
Live our company’s values and bring positive energy to the team.
What You Bring:

A friendly, professional vibe—you make people feel welcome just by showing up.
Strong communication and problem‑solving chops.
Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment. (Breakfast crowds count as cardio.)
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays—hospitality never sleeps!
Physical ability for the job: lifting, bending, carrying, walking, pouring coffee while dodging toddlers, etc.
Food handling permit (or willingness to get one).
Working With Us Comes With Perks:

Tips (because you deserve appreciation AND cash)
Health benefits (because climbing mountains is optional, but wellness is essential)
Company events & activities (yes, possibly involving s’mores)
Staff housing available (no tent required!)
Small‑town community vibe with endless outdoor adventures—hiking, biking, sledding, skiing, camping, wildlife spotting and pretending you're in a tourism brochure
Why You’ll Love It Here

This isn’t just a job—it’s a chance to live somewhere where your “commute” is a vigorous walk and your off‑days look like postcards. Valemount offers endless opportunities for adventure, connection, and fresh air.

If you’re upbeat, reliable, and excited about mountain‑town living, we want to meet you!
