FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS MANAGER (Banquets Manager) at The Algonquin Resort – St. Andrews by-the-Sea, NB

REPORTS TO SENIOR FOOD AND BEVERAGE OPERATIONS MANAGER

What You’ll Do:

· Manage daily banquet business and ensure compliance with all F&B policies, standards and procedures.

· Provide exception customer service going above and beyond for customer satisfaction and retention.

· Establish and maintains open, collaborative relationships with employees. Encourage and build mutual trust, respect, and cooperation among team members.

· Work with Senior Food and Beverage leaders to maintain the operating budget, and verify that standards and legal obligations are followed

· Develop specific goals and plans to prioritize, organize, and accomplish departmental goals.

What We’re Looking For:

· Combination of banquet leadership experience and post secondary education either in business administration or hospitality.

· Strong F&B knowledge and people leadership skills.

· Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional guest experiences.

· The ability to stand for long periods of time, and lift up to 40lbs.
