Bilton is seeking a Foreman in our Fabrication Shop to assist our current leadership with providing supervision in our Tank and Structural welding shop.

Foreman Responsibilities:
Overall supervision of the shop, ensuring a safe and productive work environment.
Create production plans, assign shop space, and delegate work to meet production demands.
Mentor, train, and develop employees, ensuring continuous skill improvement and compliance with safety regulations.
Monitor and complete performance reviews and ensure quality standards are met, addressing noncompliance and escalating issues when necessary.
Ensure compliance with safety meetings, hazard assessments, inspections, permits, and incident reporting as per company policies.
Audit and evaluate production methods and equipment, making recommendations for process improvements.
Attend interdepartmental meetings to troubleshoot issues and provide alternative solutions.
Review timecards, time off requests, and enforce company policies.
Handle personnel issues, recruitment needs, and disciplinary actions, escalating to Human Resources as needed.

Foreman Qualifications:
Journeyman Welder Certification.
5+ years of experience in a supervisory role within a shop fabrication environment.
Strong technical background in welding and fabrication.
Manufacturing industry experience is required.
Excellent leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Working Conditions:
Overtime will be required, as per production demands
Shop Environment
Extreme weather conditions while working indoors and outdoors
Uneven and rough terrain
Exposure to various fumes when in the shop facilities
