Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 per hour


Job Description

As the first and last impression for our guests, Bellhops are responsible for creating a positive guest experience through welcoming, knowledgeable, and helpful service. The Bellhop is responsible for assisting with luggage, parking, shuttle driving and room deliveries, striving to exceed guests’ expectations.

Duties and Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival and open doors
Provide directions for parking and control in-coming and out-going traffic
Valet park cars and retrieve cars upon request
Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice
Assist guests with transporting luggage or bring baggage up to guests’ rooms and retrieve when requested
Store luggage for guests and correctly identify stored bags
May drive shuttle bus
Deliver items and packages to guest rooms or respective departments

Qualifications
Previous guest services or bell desk experience preferred
Able to meet the physical demands of the position
Must have a valid driver's license equivalent to Alberta Class 5 and clean driver's abstract
May be required to obtain an Alberta Class 4 driver's license within a specified time period
Must be comfortable driving large trucks, luxury vehicles, and vehicles with standard transmission
Customer-service oriented with excellent communication skills
Demonstrates a professional, friendly personality in person and over the phone
Visa Requirements: Must be legally eligible to work in Canada. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining Canadian work authorization.
