ABOUT YOUR NEW ROLE

Herschel Supply Co. is looking for a Sales Associate, a key member of the Herschel Retail team. In your new role, you will create an engaging shopping experience for our customers, interacting with people in a real and authentic way to deliver next-level customer service. This position reports to Store Management & Key Holders.


A DAY IN THE LIFE

On a day-to-day basis, the Sales Associate will:

Welcome customers to the store and provide a positive shopping experience.
Keep on top of product knowledge to assist customers, answer questions, and make recommendations.
Effectively communicate all features, advantages and benefits of our products to customers.
Maintain knowledge of in-store stock availability on the sales floor, in backroom and online.
Actively maintain store appearance, keeping merchandise stocked and organized, while ensuring that the store is clean and well presented.
Receive and process stock from warehouse (boxes can weigh 10 - 30 lbs.) which includes unpacking, scanning/receiving, counting, tagging as required, folding, sizing, and placing on the floor, with overflow stock in back room and assigned storage areas.
Assist with re-stocking and pricing duties, including sale preparation as required.
Ensure items from change rooms are returned to appropriate area - sized and tagged.
Complete assigned clean-up duty.
Utilize the Point-of-Sale system and Mobile Point of Sale System, processes payments, refunds, and exchange.
Stay on top of new product launches, trends, and initiatives.
Participate in staff training and store events when required.

AVAILABILITY

We expect all part-time employees to be available for opening and closing shifts a minimum of three times per week. All employees must be available at least one full weekend day.

COMPENSATION

$16-18.40 per hour depending on level of experience. We do not offer accommodation.
