Position Overview

We are looking for full-time seasonal Maintenance workers that will work resourcefully to support the booking operations, promptly answers phone calls and emails, and go above and beyond to provide professional support to guests.

The 2025 season will begin on May 10 and end on October 17.

Key Responsibilities

Providing maintenance repairs to guest cabins (42 heritage units), public areas and administrative offices.
Repairs may include plumbing, electrical, heating, cooling ventilation, furnishings and fixtures, painting, wall cover repairs, light carpentry, door and window repairs. Troubleshooting propane heaters.
Interior / exterior preparation and painting
Respond / perform duties of a groundskeeper in all weather conditions. Able to work outside for extended times.
Open to various physical labor. Garbage pick up or removal. Landscape work / chainsaw work / smaller tree and bush removal / bucking wood and wood piling.
Maintain all work areas in an orderly and clean condition. Inspect public areas daily for any issues.
Liaison with supervisors and GM / follow Hotel staff / Parks Canada policies

Must have a solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, plumbing and heating.
Knowledge of power tools and various repair equipment.
Respond to all maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
Requirements

Available from May 10 to October 17
Take direction from a senior contractor / supervisor
First aid training or firefighter training an asset
Legally eligible to work in Canada
Clean drivers license / No substance abuse
Provide clean criminal records
