Full job description
Canadian Rocky Mountain Resorts is hiring for an HR Recruiter for their hotels in Banff, Lake Louise, and Emerald Lake (Field, BC). We are looking for someone that is based in Calgary and is available to travel to the Rockies occasionally.

Primary Function: Support CRMR's talent acquisition efforts across all properties. This role will be responsible for identifying, attracting, and securing top talent while providing an exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Screen applicant resumes, conduct interviews to assess candidate fit, moving top talent forward
Provide professional applicant status updates and respond to all candidates promptly and courteously
Collaborate cross-functionally with leadership team on role criticality, interview process, and candidate assessments
Prepare and extend employment offers, successfully closing candidates and promoting smooth onboarding
Conduct reference checks
Maintain accurate recruitment data
Represent the company at job fairs and networking events
Develop and implement creative sourcing strategies to build talent pipelines
Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
Other additional HR support duties as assigned
Requirements/Experience:

· Previous experience in hospitality industry is a must

· Knowledge of Banff and Lake Louise labour market conditions and trends is an asset

· Hospitality degree/diploma graduate is an asset

· Good communication and interpersonal skills

· Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail

· Ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously

· Customer service mindset with a passion for helping others

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office

· Ability to maintain confidentiality when handling sensitive information

· Positive, solution-oriented approach to challenges

· Enthusiasm for our mountain resort properties and company culture
