Our Groundskeepers love being outdoors, keeping our properties outside areas safe and looking good.

Duties and Responsibilities :
Position duties will change with the seasons.
Collecting and removing all litter and garbage from exterior corridors, courtyards and sidewalks of hotels ensuring the high standards for the external appearance of the properties.
Aid with snow and ice removal as needed from all walkways and driveways.
Salt and grit outdoor areas to keep them safe for guests and staff.
Ensure outdoor areas and entrances are safe and well-maintained.
Water and maintain flower boxes and planters.
Weed, prune and trim trees and plants, provide lawn care.
Work safely. Follow all health and safety rules, report any injuries or hazards immediately.
Additional duties as assigned
Skills and Experience:
Must be physically fit, as position requires bending, lifting and shovelling.
Self-starter that can work with little supervision.
Show energy and a positive, "can-do" attitude.
Pay attention to detail and take pride in your work area.
Able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
You must have an Alberta Class 5 driver’s license or an International equivalent.
