Job Description The Hotel Grounds Supervisor leads the groundskeeping team to ensure the property is impeccably maintained, clean, and safe, while exceeding guest expectations. This role involves overseeing daily tasks, seasonal projects, and providing guidance to the team for optimal performance. Starting Rate: $21.96 per hour We recognize tenure through our compensation. Hourly rates increase after six months, and yearly to three years. At three years the pay rate for this role would be $26.41. Job Duties Include: Provide professional, friendly service while ensuring the hotel property is clean, safe, and free of waste and debris at all times. Plan, assign, and follow up on daily tasks for colleagues, including mentoring, coaching, and performance management. Execute seasonal projects and programs such as holiday decorations, gardening, snow removal, ice rink creation, turf maintenance, and tree removal. Train colleagues on tools, equipment, and procedures to maintain operational efficiency. Perform labor-intensive tasks, operate equipment, and enhance the property through various projects as needed. Qualifications Your Skills & Qualifications: Previous leadership experience is an asset Previous experience in a landscaping or snow removal business is required Previous experience operating large vehicles, skid steer, and machinery is required Must have Class 5 driver’s license and driver’s abstract in good standing Constant standing and walking throughout shift and must be able to lift, carry, push and pull up to 70+ lbs. Must be able to work in a variety of temperatures and conditions (snow, heat, rain).
