Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and passionate Hairstylist or Barber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hair styling and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Stylist or Barber, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all clients. Your ability to communicate effectively and upsell products will contribute to the overall success of our salon.

Duties

Provide professional hair cutting, styling, and grooming services to clients.
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
Engage with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
Assist with front desk duties including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
Promote and upsell retail products to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
Foster a positive environment by building rapport with clients and ensuring their comfort during services.
Requirements

Proven experience as a Stylist or Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including cutting, coloring, and shaving.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
Experience in retail sales is preferred; ability to upsell products is a plus.
Knowledge of sanitation practices and commitment to maintaining a clean work environment.
Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if you want to.
What we offer

We offer 50% commission or we have a chair rental option available if you have your own clientele and you want to be self employed.
Full benefits package including $500 per year per practitioner with 80% coverage if on commission.
Flexible work schedule. Most of us work 4 days a week as we all prefer to be playing in the mountains than working too much. But if you want to work more than that's available too.
