Cool As A Moose is hiring Sales Associates for the upcoming season. Cool As A Moose is a bright and fun-loving store in the heart of Banff National Park. We are a family owned business operating retail stores for over 100 years, taking pride in offering exciting merchandise, excellent service and an exciting team-oriented atmosphere. Location: Banff, AB

Schedule: Flexible Full-time and Part-Time hours available

Key Responsibilities

Welcome and assist customers in finding the perfect items
Process sales transactions including exchanges and refunds
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales and store policies
Keep the store organized, stocked, and inviting
Work as part of a team to create an exceptional shopping experience
Perform opening and closing duties
Recommend merchandise based on customer needs, promote and sell products.
Assist other store employees and provide unsurpassed customer service
Engage and assist customers to determine their needs
On your resume, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

Previous experience on the retail sales floor interacting with customers (preferred but not required)
The ability to work a variety of shifts including evenings and weekends
Excellent interpersonal skills and a friendly, positive attitude with the ability to provide unsurpassed customer service
Team player who enjoys a fast-paced environment
Can assess customer needs and enjoy helping customers solve problems
Ability to safely lift 30 lbs and move throughout the sales floor
