Full job description
Emerald Lake Lodge (Field, BC) and Buffalo Mountain Lodge (Banff, AB) are looking for Bartenders and Mixologists to start in May.

Primary Function: As a bartender & mixologist, you create memorable experiences through expertly crafted cocktails and engaging tableside service. This role goes beyond basic bar service—you'll be responsible for serving guests at tables, crafting classic and signature cocktails, and contributing to our beverage program's excellence.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Prepare and serve classic and signature cocktails with precision and flair
Take sections in the dining room/bar area, providing full table service to guests
Demonstrate extensive knowledge of spirits, cocktail recipes, and proper techniques
Create balanced, innovative drinks that complement our culinary offerings
Maintain bar cleanliness and organization to ensure efficient service
Process payments and manage cash handling accurately
Adhere to all health, safety, and liquor service regulations
Participate in staff training and menu development sessions
Build rapport with guests while providing thoughtful recommendations
Work collaboratively with kitchen and service team members
Requirements/Experience:

· Minimum 2 years of experience in bar and restaurant service

· Proven ability to mix classic cocktails

· Experience taking sections and providing full table service in a restaurant setting

· Strong knowledge of spirits, mixers, garnishes, and current cocktail trends

· Excellent multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment

· Valid ProServe/Serving It Right certification (or ability to obtain before starting)

· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays

· Professional appearance and positive attitude

· Excellent verbal communication skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 44 per week
