As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a Stock Supervisor to join our team and play a role in ensuring our operations run like clockwork.

About the Role:
As the Stock Supervisor at Big Bear Trading Company, you will oversee merchandise receiving, stockroom organization, and daily restocking to ensure the store operates smoothly. You will lead and mentor a small team while upholding high store standards and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. This is a full-time, seasonal position for up to 6 months, based in Banff, AB. The successful candidate must reside in the Bow Valley region and be able to work in person.

Key Responsibilities:

· Merchandise Receiving: Receive merchandise accurately and in accordance with established receiving policies and procedures.

· Documentation Compliance: Ensure all required documentation is properly completed when receiving goods to maintain accurate records.

· Stockroom Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom, ensuring easy access to merchandise.

· Team Leadership: Train, guide, and coach a team of 2 associates, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective teamwork.

· Daily Restocking: Re-stock the store floor each day to ensure product availability and an inviting shopping experience.

· POS & Sales Floor Training: Learn and operate the POS system while gaining hands-on training to excel in sales floor duties.

· Store Standards Maintenance: Uphold high store standards, ensuring a well-presented and customer-friendly environment.

On your resume, we’ll be looking for the following qualifications:

Previous experience in stocking/receiving, inventory management, or retail operations.
Experience with overseeing and leading a small team.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for customer service and the ability to adapt to new systems and processes.
Strong communication skills and the ability to manage physical tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
In this role, you will be required to be able to safely lift and carry items up to 50 lbs and remain on feet for extended periods.
