About the Role
Banff Park Lodge is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Storeroom and Purchasing Supervisor to oversee shipping, receiving, inventory control, and supply ordering across multiple departments. This is a full-time, hands-on position requiring flexibility, strong organizational skills, and a proactive approach to supporting hotel operations.

The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring smooth and accurate product flow throughout the hotel, working closely with department managers and assisting other areas as needed.

Key Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

Receive and verify incoming products for the Kitchen, Bars, Laundry, Maintenance, Front Desk, and other departments, ensuring compliance with AHS food safety and workplace safety guidelines.
Manage and process outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and proper documentation.
Organize and maintain all storerooms, refrigerators, and freezers in a clean, labeled, and properly rotated condition (FIFO - First In, First Out), following AHS health and safety standards
Place and track product orders in coordination with department managers, ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement.
Process and reconcile invoices related to supplies and deliveries maintaining accurate records for auditing purposes
Conduct and report accurate month-end inventory counts, identifying any variances and ensuring stock levels meet operational needs
Maintain safety and cleanliness standards in all storage and loading areas, ensuring compliance with Alberta Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations.
Ensure the loading dock remains clear and safe for deliveries preventing workplace hazards.
Support and assist other departments as needed to facilitate seamless hotel operations
Key Requirements:

Experience in shipping/receiving, inventory, or supply chain operations preferred
Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks safely.
Knowledge of food safety handling and storage regulations as per AHS guidelines is an asset.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Comfortable working flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
Familiarity with procurement software and inventory tracking systems is an asset.
Valid WHMIS (Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System) certificate is beneficial.
Valid Alberta Food Safety Certification is beneficial.
