The Role:

As an Attendant at our Black Diamond Club in the Rooms Division, you will play a key role in providing the highest quality of service to our guests by working alongside and supporting all Black Diamond service team. The primary responsibilities are interacting with guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks to guests, presenting bills in a timely fashion, dealing with guest allergies, keeping a clean workplace, and making sure our guests have elevated and positive experiences. Your role will also include greeting and seating guests, running food and drinks, glassware replenishment and polishing, clearing tables, setting tables, taking payments, and replenishing service stations. You will also be stocking, doing some prep work for cocktails, making cocktails, preparing coffees and any other tasks that are assigned by the Black Diamond Manager.

Job Duties:

Provide outstanding guest service by anticipating needs, addressing them promptly, and ensuring a welcoming and positive experience.
Adhere to daily checklist and duties assigned
Provide support in all areas of the dining experience, including but not limited to delivering food, maintaining tables, and assisting with beverage service.
Prioritize guest needs, maintaining a calm, courteous, and attentive demeanor at all times.
Ensure service stations are properly equipped and set up before operations.
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, including ingredients, garnishes, preparation methods, and offerings across all food and beverage venues on the property.
Actively engage in monthly departmental sales promotions.
Manage time effectively to complete all assigned side work based on shift demands.
Prioritize guest needs, maintaining a calm, courteous, and attentive demeanor at all times.
Adhere to all relevant health department rules/regulations and all customer service guidelines
All other duties as assigned.
Employment Experience and Educational Requirements:

Friendly and outgoing personality with a passion for excellent guest service.
Excellent grooming and professional presentation.
Well organized during both slow and busy periods.
Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage operations including dining
reservations.
Top candidates possess excellent communication and organizational skills, fluency in English (other languages considered and asset).
Self-motivated and are able to produce accurate work and provide exceptional guest service.
Must have a valid Alberta ProServe certificate and have experience in a similar role.
