Job Description

To support the Engineering team in maintaining the overall appearance and internal workings of the Hotel.

Maintaining the physical appearance and overall condition of all public areas such as lounges, health club, public washrooms, and back of house areas
Frequent testing of the chemical levels of the pool and whirlpool
Cleaning pool and whirlpool filters, backwash, and tiles to ensure a safe and healthy environment
Maintaining the physical appearance of the grounds including collecting garbage, plowing and shoveling snow, cutting grass, and pruning shrubbery and trees
Attending to scheduled room checks and room calls, noting condition of rooms and required repairs

Qualifications
Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent
Plumbing or electrical training is an asset
Able to meet the physical demands of the position
Demonstrates a mechanical aptitude
Keen attention to detail
Able to work effectively independently and as part of a team
