DETAILS:

Valid Canadian Work-Permit Required for International Applicants
Full-time position, in average 40 hours per week
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Checking in and checking out Hotel guests
Answer the hotel phone and taking reservations
Respond to internal guest requests
Communicate and coordinate with other departments within the hotel, particularly Housekeeping and Maintenance
Answer inquiries regarding hotel services, and services available in the community
Improve guest experience through recognizing and resolving guest issues promptly
Ensure cash handling procedure are followed at all times
Ensure that front desk and lobby is maintained clean, safe and secure
Ensure the Guest Service Standards, Hotel Policies and Procedures are maintained at all times
Follow Health and Safety rules and guidelines at all times
Other duties as assigned by Front Office Manager
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 6 months of Hotel Front Desk is required
Computer experience with Opera system is an asset
A passion for customer service, and a strong attention to details
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work different shift hours, including overnight shifts
