Conveniently located in the Town of Banff, just steps away from the glacier-fed Bow River, Banff Park Lodge is a full-service Resort Hotel and Conference Centre. Here visitors can experience the best of both worlds: the peace and solitude of a quiet location, yet quick access to a livelier scene in downtown Banff. The Banff Park Lodge has two sister properties: the Bow View Lodge and Peaks Hotel & Suites.

Banff Park Lodge Collection of Hotels are currently seeking one part-time, overnight permanent Bell Desk Attendant, required to work night shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays. The wage will be negotiated based on experience for 16-24 hours per week.

We are looking for a candidate that can start immediately

Duties include (but are not limited to):

· Assist with Front Desk duties such as check-in, check-outs, making guest keys, etc.

· Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice

· Greet guests upon arrival and open doors

· Control in-coming and out-going traffic

· Correctly identify stored bags

· Bring baggage up to guests rooms and retrieve them when requested

· Deliver packages to guest rooms or respective departments

· Take and retrieve luggage carts as required

· Park cars and retrieve cars as per request with diligence and care

· Work scheduled overnight shifts as required

· Being knowledgeable of the Hotel, all its outlets, its layout and services

· Being knowledgeable of Banff National Park, activities and dining options

· Provide a high standard of customer service

Ideal Candidate:

· Must be legally eligible to work in Canada

· Reliable and can commit to at least 12 months of employment

· Has 1-to-2-year previous hotel experience at the front desk, bellman, concierge, reservations or related experience. (Preferred.)

· Is a capable multi-tasker with keen attention to detail

· Has a professional, yet friendly, personality and demeanour in person and over the telephone

· Has excellent English comprehension and communication skills; a second language is an asset as we welcome many international guests

· Frequent lifting and/or carrying up to 50lbs

· Must have a valid class 5 Alberta driver’s license& clean abstract
