Banff Canoe Club Dock Attendant Tour Guide

We are recruiting dock hand positions for The Banff Canoe Club this summer. Our season runs from mid May - early October. Training commencing early May.

To Apply for this job you must be in the Banff area! - and familiar with the national park.

We are looking for dock hand positions ($15.50 p/h). We will be operating 1.5 hour Big Canoe tours and there will be opportunity for some staff to guide. Generally the role is 80% dock work/ customer service and 20% guiding.

Physically be fit and willing to work outside in all weather for long periods of time
Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new POS systems.

Ability to learn local knowledge and share with guests

Job Requirements:
Valid Standard 2 day first aid certificate
IGA basic online course
Familiar with Banff National Park and a willingness to learn more

Training provided for the successful applicants:
Paddle Alberta Waterfront instructors certification 2 day (provided by Banff Canoe club)
