Responsibilities: 
The Team Leader's main role is to monitor, motivate and train the Hospitality Reservations Agents in all aspects of their job while also making and maintaining reservations for Brewster owned hotel properties – Banff International Hotel, Mount Royal Hotel and Glacier View Inn.
 
The successful candidate will lead the reservation agents by providing direction to ensure that guest reservations are handled in a professional and timely manner.  The team leader will also provide support to the Group Specialist Agent as business demands.
 
Specific Duties & Responsibilities:
 

- Lead day to day operations of the Reservations Team
- First point of contact for Hospitality Reservations Agents
- Train new Hospitality Reservations Agents
- Maintain, create and change reservations by phone and email inquiries
- Facilitate the entering of contracts into RoomMaster as they are received from Sales
- Distributing email requests that come in
- Monitoring Reservations Agents workloads to ensure that all requests will be answered within 24 hours
- Customer service resolution
- Help with customer care letters and issues that arise
- Process and be responsible for Group Reservations as required
- Assist group specialist in preparing & distributing reports, including: Group cut off report, meal plan forecast, daily call statistics, reservations entered
- Act as a liaison between the hotels front desks, Revenue Manager, Sales and the Reservations Agents
- All other duties as assigned. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess the following skills, knowledge and abilities:
- Effective supervisory and communication skills
- Organized and demonstrated strong problem solving skills
- Prior supervisory experience preferred
- Knowledge of RoomMaster is an asset
- Previous Group and FIT reservations experience is an asset
- A successful applicant will be mature and possess a proven ability to work independently and lead a team in a fast paced environment
