As our Bell Attendant, you will take pride in maintaining a neat and organized lobby area while efficiently assisting guests with their luggage and other needs. As a Bell Attendant, you will support the Front Desk Agents by transporting and delivering guests' luggage, answering their queries, and sharing your knowledge of the local area. You may also assist guests in booking activities or excursions, offering helpful advice when needed. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist with the loading and unloading of luggage and provide delivery to guest rooms. Share general information on points of interest in the area and services in the community. Work as a team player in meeting guests needs, and actively contributes to the efforts of other departments when necessary. Assist guests with special needs. Attend to group arrivals and departures: ensure all luggage is tagged accurately, delivered in a timely manner to guest rooms and picked up for groups departure. Receive and deliver items for hotel guests. Work safely. Obey all health and safety policies and procedures and report injuries and hazards immediately. Maintain the safety and upkeep of guest areas in the indoor and outdoor spaces of the property including the removal of snow and ice and other hazards. Additional duties may be assigned to help meet guest and business needs. Skills and Experience: Self-motivator with outgoing personality, strong interpersonal communication and commitment to providing a high level of guest service. Ability to repeatedly overhead lift heavy luggage (50 lbs.) Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays. Prior experience in a customer focused role is an asset. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A positive team player attitude and a strong willingness to learn.
