What can you expect?

The Room Checker provides an outstanding guest experience by participating in & assisting with the oversight of the daily tasks of the Hotel Room Attendant as required by the Housekeeping Supervisory Team. They assist in ensuring the implementation of quality assurance standards and ensure guests' needs and expectations are met.

Key Responsibilities:
Supervisory duties managing a team of co-workers to ensure their section of rooms and public spaces are cleaned in a timely manner, serving as a departmental role model.
Complying with quality assurance expectations and standards, including inspecting sites & facilities to ensure cleanliness standards are met.

Hotel Room Attendant duties as per below:
Overall cleaning of the guest rooms.
Offering assistance to guest and colleagues in a courteous manner; answering guest inquiries regarding the area and hotel services and facilities
Cleaning & maintaining public spaces, areas and washrooms as required.
Communicating with others using clear and professional language using appropriate etiquette.
Developing and maintaining positive working relationships with others.
Standing, siting, or walking for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift
Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:
Previous cleaning experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills and able to demonstrate excellent guest service and encourage positive employee relations.
Accountable for remaining productive and efficient while ensuring the highest level of guest satisfaction.
Exceptional interpersonal skills; a team player and a self-starter, yet able to work independently, reliable; responsible and conscientious.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Must be in excellent physical condition and able to lift very heavy items.
Current First Aid and CPR preferred.
Maintain a professional appearance and attitude at all times.
