Full job description
Spillett Security is looking for a part-time seasonal Security Guard to join our team, providing Security services near Banff & Canmore, Alberta. This position works 10:00 pm to 2:00 am patroling a campground in Kananaskis on Sundays and Monday's from July 7, 2024, until September 3, 2024. A company vehicle will be provided to travel from the Banff/Canmore area.

Working with Spillett has proven to be an excellent stepping stone into law enforcement while allowing you to enjoy a Mountain Lifestyle. Working nights and leaving days free to enjoy the outdoors and local arts and culture.

Responsibilities include: * Foot and mobile patrols of campground * Dealing with various disturbances/issues * Enforcing food storage rules * Report Writing

Requirements: * Valid security license from the Alberta Solicitor General * Valid class 5 driver’s license with clean abstract * Valid 1st Aid * Ability to work with little supervision and under pressure * Neat and clean appearance * Ability to read, write and communicate in English * Hospitality/Customer service experience * Graduate of Police Sciences or Criminology an asset

On-the-job training will be provided.
