Join the dynamic team at Alpha Bistro / Rocky Mountain Resort as a Food and Beverage Service Manager and embark on a journey where your expertise in banquet and event management shines. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the General Manager to oversee and elevate all aspects of our food and beverage service areas, including restaurant, lounge, and function rooms.

We're Looking for Someone Who:
Embodies the Caribou spirit, demonstrating initiative, innovation, and a dedication to guest satisfaction.
Is professional, accountable, flexible, and family-oriented, with a strong work ethic and commitment to excellence.
Has at least 3 years of managerial or supervisory experience in F&B or a similar environment, with natural leadership abilities.
Possesses basic math skills and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrates a hands-on approach and solid interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Include:
Playing a pivotal role in recruiting, hiring, training, and motivating front-line food and beverage employees.
Leading by example to ensure maximum performance and job satisfaction among team members.
Representing Banff Lodging Co. in a manner that enhances our reputation.
Ensuring all front-line employees maintain professional standards and provide exceptional service.
Coaching, developing, and managing the performance of restaurant leadership/supervisor team.
Interacting effectively with employees, clientele, and the local community to anticipate service requirements and market conditions.
Maintaining a positive presence throughout the restaurant, lounge, and function rooms.
Upholding a safe work environment and ensuring colleagues are committed to safety.
Managing inventory and ordering beverages, as well as evaluating beverage menus for customer satisfaction.
Collaborating effectively with all departments and attending meetings as required.
Handling payroll matters and other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
