The Relais and Chateaux Post Hotel & Spa in Lake Louise, Alberta is hiring for:

Position: Banquets & Events Coordinator

Department: Food & Beverage

Report to: Food and Beverage Manager

Hours: As required

Position Overview:

The Banquets & Events Coordinator will support the execution of events and banquets at The Post Hotel & Spa. This role will assist the Meeting & Event planner with managing food and beverage elements ensuring seamless banquet service. The coordinator will play a key role in executing events and maintaining the high standards of The Post.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Work closely with the Meeting & Event planner to execute events and banquets.
Manage food and beverage components for events including menu execution, quality control, and presentation.
Oversee banquet service staff during events and ensure seamless delivery.
Participate in client meetings, tastings, and walkthroughs as needed.
Maintain exceptional customer service throughout event execution.
Adhere to Relais & Chateaux brand standards and sanitation procedures.
Other duties as assigned to support events team.
Qualifications

2+ years banquet/catering/serving experience in a hotel/resort setting.
Knowledge of food and beverage, menus, wine, and banquet service standards
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask.
Excellent communication and client service skills
Team player with ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments.
Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
Adherence to health and safety policies
