Job Description

For guests seeking rejuvenation, inspiration and personalized attention, Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge offers a wide selection of luxurious Spa experiences. Your care and professionalism as Lead Therapist shows our guests that they are unique and valued – and you will take pride in knowing that your talent helps them feel their very best.

Reporting to the Aesthetics & Boutique Manager, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:


Assist the Aesthetics & Boutique Manager with the supervision, management and growth of Spa Staff.
Ensure to train all the service providers on the treatments relevant to them.
Ensure to provide thorough training to the new team members.
Ensure the cleaning of treatment rooms, dispensary and storage area.
Anticipate in advance, all material and supplies and ensure their availability.
Create new treatments and protocols for our guests
Ensure all the service providers are aware of current promotions, policy changes and memorandums.
Ensure staff maintains timing in relation to treatments to avoid any unnecessary delays.
Ensure all the service providers provide a courteous and professional approach following the Spa LQA Standards.
Responsible for the administration of goods, requisitions, monthly inventories, storage and cost effective usage of all department related materials and assets according to standards to ensure smooth operations.
Responsible to provide training to other team members on Professional Inventory.
Ensure the team is aware of monthly budget and individual retails and service targets.
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Previous experience in a Spa environment required
2 – 4 years’ experience in the field of Esthetics or Massages required
Certification from an accredited school of Esthetics required
Current professional licenses
Computer literate in Microsoft Window applications required
Experience in the luxury hotel industry is an asset
First Aid and CPR certification an asset
Excellent communication and organizational skills
Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities
Highly responsible & reliable
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team with minimal supervision
Ability to focus attention on guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
