Job & Company Overview:

DJ Bailey Technical Services is a commercial appliance repair service that has been operating in the Bow Valley for over 25 years. Bailey Technical Services provides installation, repair and preventative maintenance appliance services for many restaurants in Banff, Lake Louise, Canmore, Kananaskis and other surrounding communities. We service commercial kitchen equipment such as combi ovens, flat tops, broilers, dishwashers, mixers, ovens, fryers, etc. DJ Bailey Technical Services is an authorized service provider for Rational, Garland, Champion, Food Service Solutions, Coinamatic and others.

A typical workday for our appliance repair technicians includes driving to site (paid) and either diagnosing, installing or repairing equipment that was scheduled by an owner, executive chef or someone from the engineering or maintenance department. Our appliance technicians are also responsible for invoicing, parts ordering and general customer service. Technicians will also attend 1 - 2 brand specific training seminars with other industry professionals each year.

Key Qualifications:

Red Seal Appliance Repair Technician or Alberta Commercial Appliance Repair Technician Certification preferred.

Alternatively, apprentices with some of the following training or certifications would be considered based on experience and fit:

- Other Red Seal or 2nd year trades qualifications in areas such as millwrights, plumbers, electricians and HVAC technicians.
