THE ROLE:
The Maintenance worker is generally responsible for the hotel upkeep.

ACTIVITIES:
The duties and responsibilities for the Maintenance worker include, but are not limited to the following:

Light electrical and mechanical repairs.
Rug washing.
Basic plumbing operations.
Vacuum repairs.
Snow removal.
General building maintenance on heating and cooling system, incl. circ/sump. pumps and valves.
Daily, monthly, yearly tests and records incl. fire suppression, smoke alarms and emergency lighting.
All general maintenance of subsidized staff housing units.
Maintain A/C & heating units in guest rooms.
"Touch-up" painting.
Record keeping. Daily maintenance logs, scheduling and payroll timesheets.
Light drywall repairs. Special projects.
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and standards.
COMPETENCIES WE ARE SEEKING:

Punctual.
History of employment in the field(s) of building/hotel maintenance.
Well groomed.
Canadian work permit.
Criminal record/conviction check.
Class five driver's license.
Medium to heavy lifting.
Able to follow guidelines and work welt individually.
Possess the organization to multitask and work in a busy environment.
