Job Description Providing a full range of dishwashing services, ensuring an adequate and well-organized supply of clean dishes to support our Kitchen and Food & Beverage departments. Duties and Responsibilities Cleaning all food-service utensils, dishes, glassware, pots and pans, and kitchen food-preparation tools either by hand or using an industrial dishwasher Sort and stack dishes and glasses Sort, polish, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner Ensure proper use of all personal protective equipment when using chemicals and that all chemicals are properly stored and organized Deep cleaning of kitchen and kitchen equipment Sweep and mop of all kitchen floors throughout shift Empty kitchen and stewarding garbage, recycling, and compost bins Maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other assigned areas in accordance with the Alberta Health Code and Hotel Standards Qualifications Comprehension of written and spoken English Previous hotel or stewarding experience an asset Able to meet the physical demands of the position High attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment Able to work effectively in a multi-cultural team environment Additional Information Complimentary meal in our staff cafeteria each shift Access to Employee Travel Program Discounts on hotel Food & Beverage, Spa and Golf Memberships Inclusion & Diversity We want every employee to feel valued, appreciated, and free to be themselves at work and in housing.
