Scope Bellhops are responsible for creating an iconic guest experience with helpful and welcoming service while acting as the first and last impression for our guests. All Bellhops are expected to know resort amenities and positively interact with guests at every opportunity. Duties & Responsibilities Greet guests upon arrival and open doors Provide directions for parking control in-coming and out-going traffic Valet park cars and retrieve cars as per request, with diligence and care Ensure driveway and entrance are clean and clear of garbage, dirt, snow and ice Assist guests in arranging for transportation services Store luggage for guests and correctly identify stored bags Assist guests with transporting luggage or bring baggage up to guests rooms and retrieve them when requested Deliver housekeeping items and packages to guest rooms or respective departments Take and retrieve luggage carts as required Provide information regarding the Hotel, its layout, and services Provide information on Banff, Banff National Park, and local activities and dining options Physical Demands Requires significant walking and standing Frequent lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds / 22 kg Occasional lifting up to 100 pounds / 45 kg Frequently working outside in cold or hot weather for extended periods of time Qualifications Able to meet the physical demands of the position Must have a valid class 5 Alberta driver's license and clean driver's abstract Must be available to work flexible hours including overnight shifts on rotation Must be comfortable driving large trucks, luxury vehicles, and vehicles with standard transmission Customer-service oriented Excellent communication skills Demonstrates a professional, friendly personality in person and over the phone Organized, with a great eye for detail Capable of managing multiple tasks at once while maintaining high quality work Computer literate with working knowledge of MS Word and Outlook Previous guest services or bell desk experience preferred Thank you for your interest in joining our team!
