Full-time positions available:

We are currently seeking full-time permanent or seasonal Kitchen Apprentices in our main kitchen and pastry kitchen, required to work day shifts, evening shifts, weekends and holidays with opportunities for overtime hours. The salary for this position is based on experience for 30-40 hours of work per week. Multiple start dates available.

Duties Include (but are not limited to):

Prepare and cook complete meals
Ensuring that food is properly stored and handled at all times
Assist with the daily operation of the staff cafeteria
Adhere to standardized recipes and specifications in order to maintain consistency and ensure all standards are met
Managing a clean, sanitized work station during and at the end of the shift
Keeping overproduction and food waste to a minimum
Ideal Candidate:

Must be legally allowed to work in Canada
Completion of secondary school is required
One year of experience in a kitchen required, hotel restaurant cooking is an asset
Prepares high quality food and follows superior sanitation standards
Is physically capable of lifting and carrying heavy items and standing for long periods of time
Is a team player, able to work in close conditions with several other people
