Good Folk is focused on bold flavors, local ingredients, and genuine hospitality. We are looking for a hands-on Sous Chef to support our Executive Chef and help lead our kitchen team. This is an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-quality kitchen where creativity, teamwork, and consistency matter.

What You'll Do
Lead and support the kitchen team during service
Assist with daily kitchen operations and food preparation
Ensure dishes are prepared and presented consistently
Train, coach, and support team members
Maintain food quality, cleanliness, and organization
Manage inventory, prep levels, and waste control
Follow and enforce food safety and sanitation standards
Help create a positive, professional kitchen culture
What You'll Bring
Minimum 3 years of experience in a professional kitchen
At least 1 year of leadership experience
Strong skills on the hot line and grill
Excellent knife skills and attention to detail
Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service periods
Strong communication and leadership abilities
Passion for great food and local ingredients
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
