Hiring Security Guards – Bow Valley Area

Shield Secure Security is currently hiring professional and reliable Security Guards to join our growing team in Canmore, Banff, and surrounding areas.

We provide security services for weddings, festivals, sporting events, hotels, construction sites, private properties, and community events throughout the Bow Valley.

Position: Security Guard

Location: Canmore, Banff & surrounding areas

Job Type: Casual / Part-Time / Full-Time

Pay: Competitive hourly wages based on experience and site

Responsibilities:

Conduct regular patrols of properties and event sites
Monitor entrances and exits
Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergencies
Provide excellent customer service to guests and clients
Complete incident reports and daily activity logs
Assist with crowd control and guest management during events
Work closely with RCMP, venue staff, and management when needed
Requirements:

Valid Alberta Security License
First Aid/CPR certification preferred
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to remain calm and professional in difficult situations
Reliable transportation is an asset
Experience in security is preferred but not required
