Senior Applications Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and client focused individual to join our team. This role is crucial to maintaining our high standards, while ensuring our business continues to expand and progress.

Responsibilities:

Develop deep expertise in our specialized products and services in our niche market
Serve as the primary technical resource for interactions with clients regarding utilization and customization of our products
Evaluate site hydraulic conditions and site constraints to determine appropriate system configurations
Prepare and review technical quotations and kickoff project documentation based on customer needs
Work closely with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction
Provide exemplary customer service to support strategic growth initiatives
Represent the company with onsite customer support, industry conferences and technical events
Travel throughout Canada and the United States (Passport required)
Requirements:

Engineering experience in open channel hydraulics and water conveyance systems
Strong ability to grasp engineering concepts specific to the water resource management industry
Excellent communication and listening skills with the ability to collect the information required to understand the clients’ needs and communicate this to the internal project teams
Self-motivated with a professional and positive attitude
High attention to detail, organization and time management skills
High integrity and ability to build trust
Strong computer proficiency with willingness to learn new programs
Valid Class 5 license and reliable vehicle to use for work
Ability to drive and walk in rural and outdoor elements and conditions including construction sites
