General Manager Fat Ox Banff | Creative Restaurants Group Lead One of Banff's Most Exciting Restaurants------ MUST LIVE IN BOW VALLEY AREA

Fat Ox is looking for an exceptional General Manager to lead one of Banff's busiest and most dynamic restaurants.

This is not a role for someone who simply maintains standards. We're looking for a leader who builds culture, inspires teams, drives sales, and creates unforgettable guest experiences every single day.

Fat Ox is a vibrant Italian-inspired restaurant in the heart of Banff. We combine handcrafted food, exceptional cocktails, energetic hospitality, and a strong team culture to create memorable guest experiences.

Fat Ox is part of Creative Restaurants Group, a growing hospitality company operating multiple successful restaurants throughout Alberta and Hawaii.

What You'll Do

As General Manager, you'll be responsible for every aspect of the restaurant, including:

Leading and developing a team of 60+ employees
Creating an incredible guest experience every shift
Driving sales, profitability, and operational excellence
Hiring, coaching, and mentoring future leaders
Managing labour, food costs, inventory, and budgets
Building strong relationships within the Banff community
Working alongside the Executive Chef to deliver exceptional food quality
Maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, organization, and hospitality
Supporting marketing initiatives and local events
Being present on the floor during peak service periods

What We're Looking For

Minimum 5 years of restaurant management experience
Previous General Manager experience preferred
High-volume restaurant experience
Strong financial acumen
Experience managing P&Ls
Proven leadership and coaching abilities
Excellent communication skills
Passion for hospitality
Calm under pressure
Positive attitude with high expectations
