Part-Time Kitchen Prep Staff (1 Position Available)

Wage: $17/hour
Hours: 8:00 PM – 11:00 PM (10–15 hours per week)
Employment Period: Immediate – September 30

Key Responsibilities

Preparing ingredients for the following day's production (washing, cutting, portioning, and organizing)
Assisting with onigiri preparation and other menu components according to Yama Onigiri's recipes and quality standards
Occasionally assisting with wrapping and labeling onigiri produced during the evening production shift
Labeling, storing, and rotating ingredients using FIFO principles
Cleaning and sanitizing kitchen equipment, workstations, and food preparation areas
Restocking supplies and preparing the kitchen for the next day's service
Following food safety and sanitation procedures at all times
Qualifications

Previous kitchen or food preparation experience preferred (training provided for the right candidate)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong attention to detail and product consistency
Comfortable standing for extended periods
Legally eligible to work in Canada
