Full job description
Medcor Canada is currently looking for a BC Registered- Advanced Care Paramedic. This position is located in Kitimat, BC. The hours for this position are 12-hour shifts. Day and Night Shift Available. Flights are provided and accommodations are camp.

The ACP will provide workplace injury and illness care, urgent care, and emergency response in a construction environment. In addition, this position will provide support to the safety department and Project Management. It will require time interacting with the client and sub-contractors.

The MTC position provides a broad scope of services including the diagnosis and treatment of work-related injuries and illnesses, urgent care for non-work-related conditions, surveillance and regulatory exams, and preventive services.

A typical day in the life of a Medcor Canada Provider:

· Provide superior clinical care and customer service to Medcor Canada's client and employees

· Treat injuries and illnesses following Evidence Based Medicine standards

· Collaborate with client professionals in health, safety, and environmental practices

· Collaborate with client human resources and benefits professionals on clinical issues

· Support client’s wellness and preventative programs

· Document and manage information using state-of-the-art EMR and other tools

You Must

· Be registered with the BC EMA licensing board at the ACP Level

· Have current ACLS Certification

Have PCST Certification

You Should

· Be comfortable working in an MTC Environment

· Be comfortable and productive working with computers and EMR software

· Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills – with patients, clients, and colleagues
